Your death will forever  remains the darkest and saddest day in My life . It is very hard to believe that you left us for eternity. You are not  just a friend, but everything to me.

I know that you did not need this tributes yourself but to remind those behind who you were and what you really stood .

*_WHERE EVERYTHING BEGUN_*
On October,2010, I met Mr Abukari Roger in Nandom SHS during the welcoming of first year students by the Northern Students Union (NORTHSU ) ,Nansec branch . After the meeting,he met personally and gave me a vivid orientation about the school and all that I need to succeed in my academic journey.

From that day ,he was a father and Mentor to me. I can say that he had a positive influence in my life on campus and after school.

*__HIS SOCIAL LIFE_*_

He was very courteous, considerate , compassionate and love by many who knows him. He was very cultured and down to humanity and the Nansec community. Roger was very principle and always stood for justice. He always advocated for the right thing to be done.

He will forever remains in our for what he stood for .

**_*LEADERSHIP ROLE*_

Influencing people to take make the right decision is one his core role he played well.

As a executive member of the Northern Students Union at the time,he was very influencial and smart in decision making. I can say that he mentored me very well to take some Leadership positition in that Association which has helped me a lot . Northern Students Union will forever celebrate you as an achiever and hero . Because you serve your people well .

Mr Roger was a Leading member of the School Debating club. He was one of the greatest orator and eloquent speaker. The tenacity and dexterity he always employ always put the judges on their feet. He won several Debates with his team to his credit. The Nansec Debating Club has  lost a gem and an orator cannot be replaced.

On the aspect of NCCE Club,he was very stalwart and ebullient.  He was one of those, who his Team cannot afford to miss  in competitions. Again,he coached me very well to become a Competitor in that club. He and his team mates ,Nizomdeem Samiulahi , Abdul Aziz Imurana , Zakaria Hurum , and Dunee Donatus   were very consistent and won many awards and competitions. When these team handed over to us ,he (ROGER) charged us to be very brave and defend the name of the school in all competitions. For we as Civic club team ,we have a lost a citizen who is an achiever and dreamer ......

Mr Abukari Roger played serveral Leadership roles in Christian Students leadership societies.

He also got elected as the Assistant Library Prefect  for the 2012/2013 academic year. He was a Star in that board. He stood tall among his Colleagues. He has been described as very humble, Respectful, diligent and hardworking Student Leader.

He did not end his Leadership journey at NANDOM SHS, but continued at the Eniversity for Development Studies_UDS where he obtain both his First Degree in Bed.  Health Science education and Promotion and Mph.Community Health and Development respectively.

He was somebody that was loved by many.  He stood for humanity and development of his people.

It is very sad that I  lost him . I believe he had served his people well in this short life .

Rest in peace, comrade 😭😭😭

I LOST A FRIEND AND COUNTRY MAN .
NASSOBA LOST A  GEM

UDS LOST A PROUD DEVELOPER .

REST WELL UNDER THE BOSSOM OF OUR MAKER .

THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS. THE AFRICAN CASE .

THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS : THE AFRICAN CASE  Brookings Institute reports that 70 percent of Sub-Saharan Africa’s population is under 30, representing about 743 million of 1,061 billion people in this region. These statistics represent a robust workforce, also known as the “cheetah generation”, a new and angry generation of young African graduates and professionals who can take up leadership roles from communities to the national level, and look at African issues and problems from a different perspective. We, the next generation of African leaders, should exhibit three characteristics. Firstly, we must be able to lead ourselves. Leadership is a way of being, not a position or job title. To become great leaders, we must develop a sense of who we are, what we can do, and where we are going. Coupled with this, we must embrace failure, build resilience, develop emotional mastery, and be lifelong learners.  Secondly, we must understand how to lead others. To be able to engage, motivat
