INTRODUCTION

He is a native of Nadowli in the upper west region and was born on 23rd March, 1998. He is the 2nd and last born of his parents. 

Mr. Alex is a resourceful, experienced and innovative student nurse with a strong drive for responsibility and self fulfillment. He possess experience in public speaking, communication skills and team building. He simarily posse excellent organisational and networking skills. He believes in Volunteerism. He is a youth and social activist, a student of the Bible and politics.


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND


He had his basic education at sakasaka D/A primary school and Choggu Demonstration J.H.S in the Northern region between 2007 to 2015.


He proceeded to St. Charles Minor Seminary S.H.S in October 2015 for his secondary education were he studied General Arts. He completed in 2018.


He is currently a student of College of Health Sciences, Yendi for his tertiary education, offering a course to become a Registered nurse assistant.

INITIATIVES


1.  Young Yorgos (YYG)

An initiative to mobilize young and active youth within the country into commercial farming for economic sustainability. This initiative also support young farmers with adequate resources to enable them have a high yield.

A new society that help in the rehabilitation of mentally challenged person's and the widows into societies.

NMC SIGNED MoU WITH G- DNA

GHANAIAN-DIASPORA NURSING ALLIANCE (G-DNA) SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) WITH THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (G-DNA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The MOU will enable G-DNA to facilitate and support G-DNA members in the diaspora to contribute to advancing Nursing and Midwifery practice in Ghana. The intended purpose of the collaboration is to enhance and advance Nursing practice and to improve healthcare delivery outcomes in Ghana.  Prof. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, President of the G-DNA and an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and Public Health in Baltimore, in her address to the press, indicated that the G-DNA will mobilize Ghanaian Nurses trained abroad as well as those trained in Ghana and leaving abroad to give back to their mother country.
