Mr KANGOAN DAM ABDUL -AMIN

GNMTA PRO NTC - Lawra 2020/2021 academic year


INTRODUCTION 


Kangoan Dam Abdul-Amin, is a proud native of the East mamprusi municipal assembly precisely from Sakogu.

He was born on 9th February, 1996 and the first born of five children from a  God fearing and a Muslim Home.


He is  a final year student of Nursing Training College, Lawra offering a Registered nurse assistant. 


He is of the opinion that, What makes a child gifted and talented may not always be good grades in school, but a different way of looking at the world and learning.


He strongly believe that as an individual do not think of what individuals  can do to move you forward, But think of what you as an individual can do to move individuals forward 


Teamwork: The cooperative effort of a team of people to achieve a common goal. As we all know very well that knowledge is not the owner of one person. 


Time management: 

Assessing each of your responsibilities for priority is key in being a good time manager. There are many ways to prioritize what you need to accomplish. You might decide to complete fast, simple items followed by longer, more involved ones. Alternatively, you might prioritize your tasks starting with the most time-sensitive, or a combination of both.


*EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND* :


He started his Basic School at Sakogu confidence preparatory school, Both Primarily and junior high school from 2003 to 2013

He sat for BECE Examination in 2013


He passed with Good grades and a gained Admission into Bolgatanga secondary school ( Bigboss ) in October 2013


He completed Bigboss  in 2016 and  now a final year student in Nursing Training College,  LAWRA.

 *INTENDED POLICIES AND PROJECTS* 


1. To provides support to the entire Executive Board. Examples of the tasks of an office coordinator include maintaining office equipment, light IT troubleshooting and placing office supply orders.


2.  I will set up committees in all the year groups to gather and summit their recommendations periodically

 

3. Reliable sources of Communication: you will all bear with me that miscommunication can destroy an existing order in a heartbeat. It is against this backdrop that I will place a high premium on the truth. Often times, a well put communique gets grotesquely distorted before it is fed on. This has to do with our channels of communication


4. Work aggressively and collaboratively with other stakeholders to get the student body a seat at the table. It is only when we are heard that we stand the chance of having our concerns addressed. Striving to secure a seat at the table means making student representation at all levels of decision-making processes that affect student interest indispensable.

NMC SIGNED MoU WITH G- DNA

GHANAIAN-DIASPORA NURSING ALLIANCE (G-DNA) SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) WITH THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (G-DNA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The MOU will enable G-DNA to facilitate and support G-DNA members in the diaspora to contribute to advancing Nursing and Midwifery practice in Ghana. The intended purpose of the collaboration is to enhance and advance Nursing practice and to improve healthcare delivery outcomes in Ghana.  Prof. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, President of the G-DNA and an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and Public Health in Baltimore, in her address to the press, indicated that the G-DNA will mobilize Ghanaian Nurses trained abroad as well as those trained in Ghana and leaving abroad to give back to their mother country.
