*SPOTLIGHT  AND PERSONALITY PROFILE* 



INTRODUCTION 


Abisah Michael , is a humble son of Mr.and Mrs. Abisah.

  He is from Goka in the Jaman North district Sampah.


He was born on April 17th,1997 at Goka in Jaman North district in the Bono region of Ghana.

He is the 10th born of 14 children from a Christian  Home.

Abisah Michael spent most of his life in the western region of Ghana

precisely, Enchi and Takoradi respectively.


He is currently  a final year student of Community Health Nursing  Training College, Jirapa, offering diploma in Community nursing .


Growing up as  a young guy he  deemed it a great honour and a blessing to always put a smile on the faces of people.


He is hardworking, God fearing, trustworthy, compassionate and zealous about youth empowerment.


He has a mindset that every youth is industrious provided the person is fed with the needed information adequately. 


He has come to realized the paramount thing a group or a society needs to be transformed positively is information and effective communication.


  

He believes that,what seems to be impossible before man with unity and transparency it is possible.


Youth empowerment is one of his priorities, because  one of the ways to change a society is through educating and motivating the youth be equipped for every good work.



*EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND* :


He had his basic education at Papueso Presbyterian Primary and JHS school at Papueso Enchi( Aowin Municipality ), from 2005 to 2014.

  He wrote BECE examination in 2014 and came out with flying colours which gained him admission into Nana Brentu Senior High Technical school to offer general science as a course.

He completed Nana Brentu Senior High Technical school in 2017.


In September 2018, Abisah Michael gained admission into Community Health Nursing  Training College, Jirapa offer Registered Community Nursing (RCN)

He is currently a final year student of Community Health nursing training College, Jirapa.

INTENDED PROJECTS AND POLICIES : 

1. Creating forums for leadership formations to empower the youth.


2.Restrengthening the cordiality between GNMTA and all the appropriate sectors.


3. To collaborate with other executives to sell the vision and mission of GNMTA through media to student nurses and midwife and the country at large.



4.An aspirant for Northern Zonal GNMTA  P.R.O  2021/2022 academic.

NMC SIGNED MoU WITH G- DNA

GHANAIAN-DIASPORA NURSING ALLIANCE (G-DNA) SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) WITH THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (G-DNA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The MOU will enable G-DNA to facilitate and support G-DNA members in the diaspora to contribute to advancing Nursing and Midwifery practice in Ghana. The intended purpose of the collaboration is to enhance and advance Nursing practice and to improve healthcare delivery outcomes in Ghana.  Prof. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, President of the G-DNA and an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and Public Health in Baltimore, in her address to the press, indicated that the G-DNA will mobilize Ghanaian Nurses trained abroad as well as those trained in Ghana and leaving abroad to give back to their mother country.
