IS KONLAN WISDOM??* 



INTRODUCTION 


Konlan Wisdom Sonupaak( Wizzy) , is a humble son of Mr. &  Mrs. Konlan.

  He is from Bunkpurugu in the  North-East region of Ghana.


He was born on June 20th,1997 at Bunkpurugu in Bunkpurugu-Nankpanduri district in the North-East region of Ghana.

He is the 5th born of the 11 children of his father but 3rd born of the 5 children of his Mother, he is from a Christian  Home and he is also a Christian.

Wizzy spent most of his life in Bunkpurugu. He is single. 


He is currently  a final year student of Nursing  Training College, Wa, offering Registered General Nursing.


Growing up as  a young guy he  deemed it a great honour and a blessing to always put a smile on the faces of people. Wizzy is widely known as people's person - he always try his best to live freely and @ peace with his environs, and this has been his magic why he always remain popular wherever he goes.


He is a young servant of God, man of integrity & trustworthy, hardworking and life focus, God fearing, compassionate, and zealous about youth empowerment.


He has a mindset that every youth is industrious provided the person is fed with the needed information adequately. 


He has come to realized the paramount thing a group or a society needs to be transformed positively is information and effective communication.


  

He believes that,what seems to be impossible before man, with unity and transparency it is possible.


Youth empowerment is one of his priorities, because  one of the ways to change a society is through educating and motivating the youth to be equipped for every good work.



*EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND* :


✓Wizzy premiered his basic education at Pagnatiik D/A  Government primary school @ P3 in 2007/2008.


✓Then P4-P6 in 2008-2011 in BunkpuruguT.I Ahmadiyya Primary school.


✓ JHS1-JHS3 in 2011-2014 in Salimbouku ' A' Government JHS  in Bunkpurugu. He wrote BECE in 2014 and came out with flying colours by the grace of God, which latter gained him admission into Navrongo Senior High school ( NAVASCO ) in the Upper East Region of Ghana to offer general science as a course.

By the grace of God he completed NAVASCO and excelled gloriously in WASSCE  2017.


In September 2018, Wizzy gained admission into  Nursing  Training College, Wa, to offer Registered General Nursing (RGN).

He is currently a final year student of  Nursing training College, Wa.

4.Vice President, Pentecost Students and Associates- NTC, Wa (PENSA-  NTC, Wa) 2019/2020 academic and spiritual year.



5. Local Ghana Nurses/Midwifes Trainee Association( GNMTA) Financial Secretary, NTC, Wa 2020/2021 academic year.

 1. Second position of the Overall best student of  the class(P6), Bunkpurugu T. I Ahmadiyya Primary School ( P6) in 2011.



Second position of the best student of the class(JHS1)- Salimbouku ' A ' in 2012.

5.  Best library user of the year, NTC, Wa in 2019.



INTENDED PROJECTS AND POLICIES : 

1. Creating forums for leadership formations to empower the youth.


2.Restrengthening the cordiality between GNMTA and all the appropriate sectors.


3. To collaborate with other executives to sell the vision and mission of GNMTA through media to student nurses and midwife and the country at large.



4.An aspirant for Northern Zonal GNMTA  Treasurer 2021/2022 academic.

NMC SIGNED MoU WITH G- DNA

GHANAIAN-DIASPORA NURSING ALLIANCE (G-DNA) SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) WITH THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (G-DNA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The MOU will enable G-DNA to facilitate and support G-DNA members in the diaspora to contribute to advancing Nursing and Midwifery practice in Ghana. The intended purpose of the collaboration is to enhance and advance Nursing practice and to improve healthcare delivery outcomes in Ghana.  Prof. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, President of the G-DNA and an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and Public Health in Baltimore, in her address to the press, indicated that the G-DNA will mobilize Ghanaian Nurses trained abroad as well as those trained in Ghana and leaving abroad to give back to their mother country.
