 *INTRODUCTION* 


He was born on 1st January 1999, at Meteu in the Upper West Region of Ghana. He is the seventh born of his 10 siblings and he is currently a second year level 200 Registered General Nursing student in the St. Joseph's Nursing Training College, Jirapa. He is a motivational speaker, He likes teamwork, He is opened to contractive criticism, A student politicians and Youth Activist and He is passionate by helping others to gain knowledge on entrepreneurship, community development and growth. 


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

 

He had his basic Education at **St. Francis Xavier R/C primary School** (Meteu) where he was a health prefect and proceeded to ,*St. Francis Xavier Junior High School and completed as the Main General School Prefect. ( 2005 - 2014) 


He gained admission into St. Cyprian Minor Seminary Senior High School ( 2014- 2017) to offer general arts but latter diverted to science department and was made the library prefect.


After high school, he worked with Ghana COCOBOAD ( Western Region) and has been to the capital of La Cote divoire (Ivery coast) to acquired knowledge on entrepreneurship , they also trained them on leadership skills through summits and were awarded certificates - (wa) Upper West Region. He is admired by a lot of young men and women and he has also inspired a lot of young men and women to developed interest in to entrepreneurship.


 He also worked in Real spicy foodies ( wa) Upper West Region March  2018  and he was made in charge of all activities within the company settings (deputy manager) but later left for his tertiary education in Wa and and in fact he demonstrated to everyone in the company that he is not only hardworking but also very young brilliant and wise.


In August 9, 2019, he gained Admission into St. Joseph Nursing Training College, Jirapa and he is currently a second year  level 200 student. 


 *LEADERSHIP PROFILE* 


1.since he primary one till date, he has never been to any class without holding leadership position to an extend most his classmates and colleagues don't really know his name.


2. CEO ( Profburny and FidRay ventures).


3. Public Relations Officer; Emerging Youth of Meteu (EYM) where he wrote a constitution for the group. 


4. Financial Secretary For BRISU Senior High School.


 *PROJECTS AND POLICY INITIATIVES* 


1. protecting the right and safeguarding the interest of every student nurses or midwife 


2.Promotion cooperation, understanding and friendship between and amount members within our great zone, others zone and groups outside GNMTA to raise the flag of GNMTA and earsily broadcast our union and take our zone to a level we all want our zone to get.


3.lobbying for trainees to get posters to their preferred places for the one year mandatory nation service.


4. Working to ensure Local GNMTA account get separated from institution account to enable Local GNMTA Executives  carry out projects on time.


5. lobbying to put all Local GNMTA Executives on Government nationwide district scholarship since they play a major role at the institutional level.


6. Training student nurses on how to do business while in school and how to start business after completion.

NMC SIGNED MoU WITH G- DNA

GHANAIAN-DIASPORA NURSING ALLIANCE (G-DNA) SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) WITH THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (G-DNA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The MOU will enable G-DNA to facilitate and support G-DNA members in the diaspora to contribute to advancing Nursing and Midwifery practice in Ghana. The intended purpose of the collaboration is to enhance and advance Nursing practice and to improve healthcare delivery outcomes in Ghana.  Prof. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, President of the G-DNA and an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and Public Health in Baltimore, in her address to the press, indicated that the G-DNA will mobilize Ghanaian Nurses trained abroad as well as those trained in Ghana and leaving abroad to give back to their mother country.  THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS : THE AFRICAN CASE  Brookings Institute reports that 70 percent of Sub-Saharan Africa’s population is under 30, representing about 743 million of 1,061 billion people in this region. These statistics represent a robust workforce, also known as the “cheetah generation”, a new and angry generation of young African graduates and professionals who can take up leadership roles from communities to the national level, and look at African issues and problems from a different perspective. We, the next generation of African leaders, should exhibit three characteristics. Firstly, we must be able to lead ourselves. Leadership is a way of being, not a position or job title. To become great leaders, we must develop a sense of who we are, what we can do, and where we are going.
